I read about the Tom Hanks/Steven Spielberg connection on the front page of Variety. Looks to be another WW2 film - that makes three at Paramount with "Combat" and the Arnold Schwarzenegger vehicle "On Wings of Eagles" (in which I think I've head Arnold plays a German - but a good German who is told to shoot American prisoners but refuses - I've not heard all the skinny on that one).

Meanwhile, "Combat!" won't go in 1996, but look for a spring or summer start next year. The studio loves the project and they're just waiting on the right director to be free. Willis is still committed, as far as I know.
