It's been decades since I saw this episode and it haunts me still! In the middle of war and horror
here was a quiet brave little girl who saves the life of the battlescared veteran sargeant... And
the irony of the warrior lives on and the brave
life-saver gets killed, kind of says a lot......

It was a well done character study....Realistic!

My father was a Pearl Harbor Veteran ...he could
barely even talk about what he saw without crying
himself....
