Commercial Sources of "Combat!"
Two episodes are available through Amazon.com. These are dubs made from 16mm (appear to
be bootlegs, but Amazon still carries them).
- COMBAT! Episode: Mail Call - One
of the best Combat! episodes, "Mail Call" shows Saunders dealing with a
personal crisis from home that comes to him in a letter.
- COMBAT! Episode: The Flying Machine
- Hanley is paired with a cantankerous pilot (Keenan Wynn) for a dangerous aerial survey
mission that goes awry. Episode features only Hanley and no other squad regulars.
No authorized commercial tapes are currently available. Many fans of Combat!
have written to Columbia House to express their interest in having tapes available for
sale. Columbia House sells commerical VHS tapes of many classic TV series. You can email
them at:
Or send them regular mail at:
In 1987, Goodtime Video released eight Combat! episodes on VHS. These can
still occasionally be found in discount houses.

Other Sources of Combat!
Alas, until some commercial vendor can be convinced to make tapes available to the
general public, we fans must depend upon the kindness of strangers to feed our Combat!
desires.
Avenues to obtain non-commercial tapes:
- Find a fan with off-air copies who is willing to make duplicates. The best way to do
that is make friends with Combat! fans. People are more willing to make copies
for friends than for strangers. (Please don't send email to this site asking for tapes. We
get swamped with requests and cannot help out all the fans who want tapes.)
- Find a black-market source. Several VHS vendors around the country will sell Combat!
They charge up to $30 per tape for second-generation dupes of off-air copies. Buyer
beware. These are illegal operations. This web page does not encourage illegal activity.
