I'm pretty sure that Rod Serling, the creative genius of the TWILIGHT ZONE, never intended "The Changing of the Guard" to be a tribute to COMBAT! or to Pvt. Billy Nelson, but that is how I interpreted it. Without giving anything away I can tell you that this is a very moving tale about honoring those who truly deserve it the most in our society.

It is also as if Billy’s fate was finally revealed on film for the glowing hearts of COMBAT! fans. Tom played a very adult and dignified Artie Beachcroft. Someone I'd have nothing but respect for. Definitely well worth watching! I’ll let you know as soon as it comes out on video.
