This was one of the best episodes of Combat! ever made, in my opinion. It interspersed many emotional moments of fear, affection and loss with the great action that typifies this series. Although she spoke little English, Sylviane Margolle gave a touching performance in her native French, with Cage translating most of the time. She disappeared from French cinema and anything in front of the camera circa 1965 to do French language dubbing for American TV shows (Melissa Sue Anderson's role in "Little House on the Prairie, Cheryl Ladd's role on "Charlie's Angels") and movies ("Casino Royale"). She was also the voice for a French animated series from the mid-1970's called "Candy". I found a link to a partial "voice-ography" and 2002 interview (in French, sorry) on a site devoted to that series and other French dubbing artists: \topurl{http://www.geocities.com/candycandylovers/doublagefr.html,http://www.geocities.com/candycandylovers/doublagefr.html}
