- Dick Peabody passed away on December 27, 1999 from prostate cancer. Back surgery
sidelined his acting career in 1985 and forced him to devote more time to writing -- which
is what he has always enjoyed most. He is survived by his wife Tina who lives in the
Sierra foothills.
