The Carpetbaggers (1964) Starring George Peppard. Tom is in a featured small role as the naive young son of a Hollywood mogul who must "entertain" a troublesome starlet.

Absolutely charming family comedy of the misadventures of Jimmy Stewart and Maureen O'Hara on a family vacation. Blink and you'll miss Tom Lowell's first screen appearance. But he does actually have a couple lines! This film is great fun!

Stars Frank Sinatra, Angela Lansbury. Superb political thriller. Tom in small, but pivotal, role as youngest member of an Army squad in Korea. Not for the kids! Intense, well written, and well acted.

Starring Eric Breaden, Ed Harris, Gerald McRaney, Max Gail. An alien mother ship hovering in Earth's atmosphere is the base for an attempted alien invasion of Earth. Tom listed as 'Intern' in credits. I haven't seen this one yet.

That Darn Cat
1965

Disney film with Hayley Mills. Tom is featured as Hayley's boyfriend, a surfer bum. Cute! A must-see for Lowell fans. Cast also features lots of "Combat!" alums, including Roddy McDowall and Keenan Wynn.

Escape from the Planet of the Apes

1971

Tom appears in a minor role (two scenes) as the orderly of the imprisoned Apes in this third saga in the "Planet of the Apes" series. Lots of "Combat!" alums in the film, including Eric Braeden, William Windom, Albert Salmi, Roddy McDowall.
